T. Stewart Veitch LLB DIP LP
PARTNER Stewart graduated from Aberdeen University with an LLB and diploma in legal practice in 1988. He then completed a traineeship with Balfour & Manson in Edinburgh before returning to his roots to follow his great-grandfather and grandfather, and join his father in the family practice in 1991.
Stewart specialises in conveyancing and also heads our agency court practice – Stewart regularly appears in Livingston Sheriff Court providing a service to many of Scotland’s top litigation firms.

Jon D. Blundell LLB DIP LP
PARTNER Jon graduated from the University of Dundee with an LLB and a Diploma in Legal Practice in 1985. Having completed his traineeship with Balfour & Manson he moved away from law to pursue a successful career in business and management before later returning to the profession.
Passionate about client service, Jon provides a personal service in the areas of Conveyancing, Will writing, Powers of Attorney, Executries and succession planning.

Brian Jackson LLB (HONS) DIP LP
PARTNER Brian graduated from the University of Glasgow with an LLB and a Diploma in Legal Practice in 2009 and completed his traineeship in 2014. After qualifying, he worked in Glasgow for a number of years, focusing exclusively in Private Client matters. He has a young family and joined the firm in 2021.
Brian specialises in the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney and advises on Executry and Trust administration. Dealing with families at difficult life moments, Brian is often complimented on his approachable and empathetic manner. Brian is also a Notary Public registered with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and assists clients in notarising a wide range of legal documents.

Laura Moore LLB (HONS) DIP LP
ASSOCIATE Laura graduated from the University of Aberdeen with an LLB and a Diploma in Legal Practice in 2005 and completed her traineeship in 2007. Laura focuses on the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney and advises on Executry administration and Trusts. In 2022 Laura completed a specialist qualification in these areas, gaining the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners Diploma with distinction.
Laura aims to help families in an efficient, straightforward and friendly way. Laura is also a Notary Public.

Kirsty Pllu LLB (HONS) DIP LP
ASSOCIATE Kirsty graduated from the University of Aberdeen and completed her traineeship in 2001. After qualifying, she worked in Edinburgh, focusing on commercial property. After taking a career break when her 3 boys were young, Kirsty returned to work in 2018, and joined the firm in 2023.
Kirsty now focuses on residential conveyancing and with a strong background in commercial property can also assist with commercial conveyancing, including landlord and tenant matters. Kirsty is also a Notary Public.

Tom Hourston LLB (HONS) DIP LP
SOLICITOR Tom graduated from the University of Aberdeen with an LLB in 2018, before receiving his Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from Edinburgh University in 2019. He joined the firm that year before going on to complete his Traineeship with the firm.
Tom now undertakes all aspects of Conveyancing, Executry and Private Client work, and is enthusiastic about providing a personal and all-round legal service to clients. Tom is also a Notary Public.

Yvonne McKenzie
REGISTERED EXECUTRY PARALEGAL & LAW ACCOUNTANT A qualified Law Accountant and registered Executry Paralegal with over 25 years’ experience, Yvonne specialises in Executry work whilst, at the same time keeping an overview and control on our Cash Room facilities. Yvonne brings considerable expertise and empathy to what can be a difficult time.

REGISTERED CONVEYANCING PARALEGAL A qualified registered Conveyancing Paralegal with over 16 years’ experience, Anne supports Stewart and Jon in carrying out much of our conveyancing work. Highly personable and professional in her approach Anne strives to make buying and selling property as smooth as possible for our clients.
